The Center for Global Development (CGD) has compiled the CO2 emissions of 50,000 power plants worldwide into an online database called Carbon Monitoring for Action (CARMA). CARMA is searchable by country, state, province, county, metro area, city, power company, power plant, or zip code. For each power plant, CARMA provides the total tons of CO2 emissions as well as the electrical generating capacity of the power plant. For example, the Seinajoki power plant in western Finland (the biggest electric power plant in the world) has a generating capacity of 226,000,000 MWh and emits 955,434 tons of CO2, or 236.54 tons per MWh.
