no,the concept of destroying earth used in the movie 2012 is not possible in coming year 2012.it can be possible minimum after 40-50 years.For next three years,according to the research of earth horizon there would be not any sudden changes.Research of scientists is saying that there is not any possibility of Fusion in the core of earth.it is quite possible but not in coming three years.

I believe that Jesus is coming back, but when I do not know. The movie 2012 is based on the Mayan calender and as far as I know they are not Christians. Also when Jesus comes back it will be when we least expect it. This also to me means that there is not a high possibility of that happening because many are expecting it. I guess only time will tell for sure.
