Well-designed, constructed, operated and maintained green buildings can have many benefits. Some of these benefits are durability, reduced costs for energy, water, operations and maintenance. There is also an improved occupant health and productivity; and the potential for greater occupant satisfaction than standard developments. They may seem like they cost more money to buy up front but the truth is that if you live in one for a number of years it will actually save you a lot of money and be more healthy in general.
