Hybrids are cars, vans, and trucks that use less gas and run partially on battery power. This allows for less toxins and carbon dioxide to be released into the atmosphere. Over time this could slow the effects of carbon dioxide release into the atmosphere. The question is does the battery creation out way the carbon dioxide released by the regular cars.
